Job Requirements

The Commercial Loan Assistant supports commercial lending teams by managing administrative, documentation, and coordination tasks throughout the loan lifecycle.

This role is essential in ensuring loan files are accurate, complete, and compliant while helping maintain strong client relationships and efficient internal operations.

Assist with preparing loan packages, gathering financials, credit reports, and supporting documentation.

Review loan files for completeness and accuracy.

Coordinate with borrowers, attorneys, title companies, and internal departments to facilitate loan processing and closing.

Track loan pipeline activity and maintain updated records in loan management systems.

Prepare and process loan documentation, modifications, renewals, and extensions.

Ensure loan documentation and processing adhere to lending guidelines, compliance standards, and established timelines.

Respond to client inquiries and provide ongoing support.

Assist with post‑closing tasks, including document filing and collateral tracking.

Manage electronic customer loan files, including tracking, monitoring, and following up on missing, expired, or outstanding ticklers and exceptions.

Monitor existing loans to ensure ongoing compliance with approved credit terms, documentation requirements, and internal policies.

Process a variety of loan transactions, including funding, advances, payments, fees, and payoffs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Complies with internal controls, operational procedures and risk management policies.

Represents Lincoln Savings Bank in a professional and positive manner in all duties, including active participation in civic, community, and networking events to foster strong relationships and enhance the Bank’s community presence.

Necessary Skills and Attributes

High school diploma or equivalent

1–3 years of prior loan administration, banking, or related financial services experience preferred.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
