Testing will be completed in Cedar Falls throughout the year as announced at the Public Safety Center located at 4600 South Main Street. Candidates will be informed of their eligibility to test, and information will be provided to return at testing.

Salary:
The FY25 annualized starting pay will be $66,553, but certified candidates will begin at Step 2 ($73,126) with the potential to start up to Step 5 ($86,311) based on the number of completed years of certified experience and if Firefighter I certified. Full-time benefits including tuition reimbursement apply.
