An efficient shop starts with a well-run parts department. Brown Nationa Lease is hiring a Parts Manager (First Shift) to oversee our parts inventory, purchasing, and pricing operations at our Cedar Falls facility. Whether you have years of heavy-duty truck parts expertise or solid inventory management experience looking to step into a new industry, we want to hear from you. We are looking for an organized, hands-on professional to keep inventory turn tight and ensure our shop technicians and external customers get the right parts on time.

Work With Us (Core Responsibilities):

• Purchasing & Vendor Management: Source, order, and manage pricing for OEM and aftermarket parts, maintaining vendor relationships to ensure supply availability and solid margins.

• Inventory Control: Oversee shop inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, handle stock replenishment, and manage inventory to maximize profitability.

• Pricing & Margin Strategy: Maintain parts pricing structures for internal shop repairs.

• Shop & Counter Support: Work directly with Service Managers and Diesel Technicians to deliver parts quickly to the bays, minimizing vehicle downtime.

• Warranty & Core Tracking: Manage core returns, vendor warranty claims, and accurate record-keeping within our shop management system.

What You Bring:

• Management, inventory control, or retail leadership experience (open to general retail/store management up to heavy-duty parts counter expertise).

• Ability to manage inventory, track purchase orders, and learn parts lookup/catalog systems.

• Strong organizational and communication skills with a focus on problem-solving and operational speed.
