Assisted Living Nurse Manager

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nurse Manager (LPN or RN)
in Assisted Living
to join our Cedar Falls community. Your day-to-day will include (but not limited to) building relationships with those you serve and work alongside, supervising the resident care received, and accurately communicating, documenting, and administering needed medications/treatments/ etc.

• Functions as part of the management team by guiding and directing resident care, maintaining awareness of the condition of all residents under your care.
• Create and maintain individualized service plans for all tenants based off assessment and review of services.
• Effectively communicates resident needs with physicians and immediate supervisor
• Accurately administers all medications, treatments and physician orders; taking ultimate responsibility for resident care
• Coordinates preparation and planning of resident admission; giving proper recognition to the real and potential contribution of family and others in planning nursing care
• Provides for emotional and physical comfort and safety of residents, and emotional support to families
• Supervises, assists, consults with and teaches Resident Assistants, CNA's, and Medication Managers.

• Graduate of a state board-approved LPN/RN school
• Currently licensed in Iowa
• Current in CPR certification or willing to achieve it
• Able and willing to work weekends and holidays as required/needed
• Exceptional attendance
