Part-time Nursing Assistant (Plasma Screening and Phlebotomy)
This role is truly part-time, with most shifts lasting 4 to 6 hours per day, 3 or more days per week. Availability, shift days, and times will be confirmed early in the interview process. Team members will be informed in advance of any schedule changes.
About the roleEvery day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high-quality plasma you collect will become life-changing medicines. A commitment to customer service and quality is expected. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and function as a plasma donor screener, performing phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.
How you will contribute- You will answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety while ensuring the safety of donors and the team.
- You will screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording donor vital signs and finger-stick results.
- You will use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
- You will help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes following company-approved procedures.
- You will be present for donors, which includes working a variety of shifts on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
- Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
- Ability to lift up to 5 lb., with occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lb. and rarely 50 lb.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
- Due to potential exposure to blood borne pathogens (risk level
1), 90 % of tasks require prolonged glove wear. - One or more years of minimum experience in a customer- or patient-facing role is helpful.

Starting Hourly Wage: $16.00
