Medical Customer Service Rep

About the Role

The role is truly part-time, with most shifts lasting 4 to 6 hours per day, 3 or more days per week, designed to fit your life.

Every day the donors you meet will motivate you. The high‑quality plasma you collect will become life‑changing medicines. A commitment to customer service and quality is expected. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform duties as a plasma donor screener, performing phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.

• You will answer phones, greet donors, and ensure their safety.
• You will screen new and repeat donors, take and record vital signs and finger‑stick results.
• You will use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, keep accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• You will help identify operational improvement opportunities and implement changes using company‑approved procedures.
• You will work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk or stand for the entire shift.
• Must work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Must lift up to 5 lbs., occasionally up to 32 lbs. and rarely up to 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and audibility of equipment from a distance.
• Acceptance of potential exposure to blood borne pathogens (risk level 1); 90% of tasks require prolonged glove wear.
• At least one year of experience in a customer‑ or patient‑facing role is helpful.

Starting hourly wage: $16.00. The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements.
