Provides mental health assessment, diagnosis and treatment to student patients; provides patient education and promotes overall health; collaborates with other staff to develop and implement quality improvement programs and processes; and serves as a resource and provides in-service education to staff as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Psychiatric Mental Health with national certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center; current State of Iowa medical license, or the ability to become licensed by the date of hire; and current DEA and Iowa Controlled Substance certificates required.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
This is a part-time position (24 hours per week) with an 11 Month service schedule. The service schedule follows the academic year, with the following time off:
Thanksgiving week, winter break, and spring break.
