Job DutiesAs a cashier, you will provide excellent customer service while ensuring a smooth checkout process.
Responsibilities include:
- Warmly greet customers as they enter and leave the store.
- Welcome customers at the checkout line.
- Accurately scan items and verify pricing.
- Process in‑store and manufacturer coupons efficiently.
- Restock merchandise and supplies in the checkout area.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at your station.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues, escalating to management when necessary.
- Meet goals for Blain's Rewards Mastercard applications, loyalty sign‑ups, and BEST Protection Plans.
- Provide assistance at customer care and self‑checkout areas as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies related to finance, safety, legal, and HR.
- Assist as a Self‑Checkout attendant when necessary.
- Handle Customer Care tasks, including returns and inquiries.
- Support other departments as required.
- Help with customer carryout as needed.
- Take on Sales Floor Associate duties when assigned.
