Skilled Carpenter
Location: Cedar Falls, IA
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities- Custom Home Construction:
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to bring custom home designs to life.
- Rough framing, install windows, doors, siding, and decks.
- Execute precise measurements and ensure structural integrity.
- Finish Carpentry:
- Install trim, baseboards, crown molding, and other finishing touches.
- Craft custom cabinetry, built-ins, and staircases.
- Create beautiful woodwork for interior and exterior spaces.
- Attention to Detail:
- Maintain high standards of quality and precision.
- Ensure seamless transitions between different materials and surfaces.
- Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with the project team to meet deadlines.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years as a carpenter in residential construction.
- Proficiency in both rough and finish carpentry.
- Skills:
- Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications.
- Strong knowledge of wood types, joinery, and woodworking techniques.
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools.
- Physical Stamina:
- Carpentry work involves lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Problem-Solving
