We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The plumber will ensure that all plumbing work meets local codes and regulations, while providing high-quality service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Install, repair, and maintain water, drainage, and heating systems, including pipes, fixtures, fittings, and equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues, such as leaks, clogs, and water pressure problems.
- Read blueprints, technical drawings, and building plans to determine plumbing requirements.
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems and advise clients on preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot plumbing problems using advanced tools and techniques.
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with contractors, electricians, and other tradespeople on construction or renovation projects.
- Provide estimates and quotes for work to be performed.
- Maintain inventory of plumbing materials and tools.
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls when required.
- Proven experience as a plumber or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
- Familiarity with local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
- Valid plumbing license (if required by local regulations).
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program is preferred.
- Work will be performed in a variety of settings, including homes, offices, and construction sites.
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- May be required to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts for emergency plumbing services.
