Maintenance techs at Sun Tan City keep our equipment and facilities running in tip top shape to ensure our clients receive a consistent high-quality experience with great results every time they visit, in a well-maintained relaxed and comfortable environment. From repairing, cleaning, & maintaining the tanning and spa equipment to keeping the laundry facilities functioning, our techs are integral to our employee's and company's overall success and brand reputation.
This specific position will be maintaining 3-5 stores.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Position may require two weeks of out-of-town training. (Expenses paid.)
- The Maintenance Technician will be required to be at a salon by 7:00am each morning, Monday thru Friday, Some occasional work on weekends.
- Repair and maintain UV and Sunless tanning equipment.
- Maintain overall appearance of assigned facilities.
- Complete monthly parts inventory in company vehicle.
- Must be available for alternating On Call shifts with other technicians.
- Manage Daily/Weekly reports and schedule accordingly.
- Track and record monthly expense reports.
- Work with Salon staff and others to uphold Sun Tan City policies and requirements.
- Complete weekly lamp changes in tanning equipment.
- Ability to work 5 days per week, and approximately a 40-to-45-hour work schedule depending on hourly or salary status.
- Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.
- Daily car travel with some days 3-5 hours in the vehicle.
Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
- Mechanically inclined with basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and building materials.
- Ability to read schematics is a plus.
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised in a team environment.
- Accurate and attentive to detail while having the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must be well organized.
Compensation: $30.00 per hour
