Maintains a working knowledge of vehicle components and systems and performs preventative and repair maintenance on-site and on the road;
Repairs chassis components and refuse bodies, including control, hydraulic and electrical systems; air and hydraulic braking systems;
Performs light engine repair and maintenance; works on suspension, drivetrain and steering systems; heating and air conditioning;
Performs line maintenance welding and fabrication;
Provides on-road service to safely return equipment to operation
