**** Primary Function:
** Provides mental health assessment, diagnosis and treatment to student patients; provides patient education and promotes overall health; collaborates with other staff to develop and implement quality improvement programs and processes; and serves as a resource and provides in-service education to staff as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

** Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Psychiatric Mental Health with national certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center; current State of Iowa medical license, or the ability to become licensed by the date of hire; and current DEA and Iowa Controlled Substance certificates required.

Term appointment with an anticipated duration of two years. The appointment may be renewed beyond two years based on organizational needs and available funding.

Schedule:

This is a part-time position (24 hours per week) with an 11 Month service schedule. The service schedule follows the academic year, with the following time off:
Thanksgiving week, winter break, and spring break.
