Truck Driver CDL A Part Time

Position Overview

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Cedar Falls, IA. The role offers weekly pay and benefits, with an emphasis on safety and customer service.

• Safely drive a commercial vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Follow written and oral instructions; maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load and unload freight as required, and support customers in logistics activities.
• Detect and eliminate safety hazards, and perform continuous training and customer service duties.
• Other tasks as assigned.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL with relevant endorsements; proven experience required: 9 months within last 3 years, 2 years within last 5 years, or 5 years within last 10 years.
• Pass a Ryder drug test.
• Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check (including drug and alcohol verification for the last 3 years).
• Pass a DOT physical and a Ryder road test.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, and policies.
