Semi Local CDL Truck Driver

Semi Local CDL Truck Driver – Pay: $75,000 annual salary, paid bi‑weekly. This regional driving position requires overnight stays for routes with home on weekends. You will be a key member of Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s transportation team that transports animal nutrition products to customers and other locations within Neosho, MO;
Cedar Falls, IA; and Mechanicsburg, PA.

• Follow all driving and safety policies.
• Comply with FMCSA and DOT regulations.
• Adhere to all safety processes and insist on safety practices for self and others.
• Show up on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt to changes quickly.
• Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed.
• Use a powered pallet jack.

• 21 years or older.
• 1+ year of commercial driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license:
  Class A CDL with Airbrakes, HAZ‑MAT endorsement (or ability to attain within 60 days of hire – company reimbursement available), and tanker endorsements (or ability to attain within 60 days of hire – company reimbursement available).
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem‑solve, and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, always respectful.
• Ability to complete safety and compliance guidance training.
• Availability to be out of home a minimum of two nights weekly.

• 2+ years of commercial driving experience.
• Forklift experience.

• Ability to lift 60 lbs.
• Be able to sit and remain alert while driving for up to 11 hours.
• Frequent movement: walking, standing, bending/stooping, squatting, crouching, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing.
• Frequent carrying of freight of varying size and shape.
• Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
• Work across temperature zones, including cold and/or hot environments for extended periods, and may involve dust and chemicals.

• Days, nights, and weekends, including some holidays.
