I opened my first agency in 2011 and expanded with a second location in 2021. Today, our team includes 11 members working together across both offices. My journey with State Farm started as an intern, then a full-time team member while earning my MBA, and shortly after, I became an agent. That experience shaped how I lead today - with a strong focus on growth, teamwork, and long-term success.
I attended Stephen
F. Austin State University and grew up in the Duncanville area. I’ve been married for 15 years, and my wife and I have four kids who keep life busy and fun outside the office. Family is a big part of who I am, and that same family-style approach carries into our office culture.

As a Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member with Rick Smith - State Farm Agent, you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you a fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agency team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support.

Responsibilities:- Answer customer inquiries and provide policy information.
- Assist customers with policy changes and updates.
- Process insurance claims and follow up with customers.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
