Job Overview
A Music Teacher will teach music lessons to students following the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum, increase student count, nurture a culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.
Responsibilities- Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs.
- Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
- Assist with Customer service as needed, building long‑term relationships by creating a great experience.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Partner with students and families through frequent communication, building trust and respecting parents’ knowledge as a child’s Music Teacher.
- Communicate with students and/or parents of students on progress of each student.
- Share students and parents’ goals and progress frequently.
- Previous experience in Music, Education, or a related field.
- Ability to teach the instrument they are proficient in (e.g., Drums, Guitar, Keyboard).
- Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in that area.
