Elementary Special Education Teacher invited to join us for the 2026-27 school year in the vicinity of Cedar Hill, TX, in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas.

You'll work with resource/inclusion students. Key Details:
* You'll provide special education students with learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physcial and social growth
* You'll develop and modify curricula and prepare lessons and other instructional materias to match student ability levels
* Collaboration with faculty members and your students' parents or guardians will be a key factor in realizing best outcomes
* Consistent meeting attendance and reporting in a timely matter is required
* Effective communication and organizational skills, both written and orally, are also required
* Full time, 38.5 hours per week, 30 minute duty free lunch daily

Qualifications:

* Education/Certification:

Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
* Valid Texas teaching certificate with required special education endorsements for assignment
* Knowledge of special needs of students in assigned areas
* Knowledge of Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee process and Individual Education Plan (IEP) goal setting process and implementation
* Knowledge of how to adapt curriculum and instruction for special needs Effective communication skills

* Experience:
