Delta Steel is currently interviewing experienced 10-20 ton overhead crane operators with a steel service center or fabrication environment background. Candidates must have previous experience operating a remote-controlled overhead crane in a steel service center or fabrication environment. Individuals must also possess:

• Build Orders
• Organize materials
• Operate an overhead crane
• Move steel beams to appropriate positions
• When job duties are not required, the individual must be able to perform the duties of another job function as determined by the supervisor
• A high level of dependability, a great attitude, and an ability to work well with a team
• Ability to stand, lift, climb and perform various other physical functions
• Display the ability to use manual hand tools, including wrenches and clamps
• Display the ability to use basic measuring devices, including tape measure and micrometers
• Display the ability to accurately use basic math skills
• Observe all workplace safety rules and regulations
• Operate an overhead crane
• Move steel beams to appropriate positions

• Day shift: 5am-5pm, Monday-Friday
• Night shift: 5pm-5am, Monday-Friday

• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a 10–20-ton overhead crane is a plus. We are willing to train if no experience
