Job Overview
Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as conveyors, engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines and equipment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Knowledge and experience working with conveyor systems, electrical 3‑phase motor controls/PLC, and overall material handling experience.
- Perform repair/inspection and installation of conveyor system components such as racking, balers, air compressors, carton sealers, etc., and all other building and support areas.
- Recognize potential malfunctions and proactively repair to mitigate costs.
- Maintain complete repair order records.
- Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
- Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts; examine and test parts for imperfections.
- Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
- Repair or replace defective parts, install special functional and structural parts.
- Lubricate and clean parts, start devices to test performance.
- Set up and operate lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
- Initiate purchase order for parts and machines.
- Repair electrical equipment.
Monday to Friday, 2nd shift, 4:30 pm - 1:00 am PST.
Position DetailsFull‑time and on‑site.
CompensationPay Range: $28 - $32 per hour. The above-stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
