Location: Cedar Hill, TX 75104
Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 DOE
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Position OverviewThe Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery, production equipment, and facility systems to support safe, efficient, and continuous operations in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Troubleshoot and repair motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, industrial controls, PLCs, and automation systems
- Support production operations by minimizing downtime and responding to equipment failures
- Perform facility maintenance including welding, fabrication, HVAC, plumbing, piping, structural, and mechanical repairs
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, P&IDs, PFDs, and technical documentation
- Follow OSHA regulations and plant safety procedures
- Maintain maintenance records and documentation control systems
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports
- Enter equipment information into maintenance databases and manage spare parts inventory
- Train and support new employees on maintenance procedures
- Fabricate machine upgrade and repair parts as needed
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized maintenance equipment
- High school diploma or GED required
- Mechanical trade school training preferred
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments required
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
- Knowledge of motors, PLCs, industrial drives, and control systems
- Ability to read ISO drawings, P&IDs, and PFD documentation
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred
- Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- CMMS experience preferred but not required
- AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or related software knowledge is a plus
- HAZMAT training preferred but not required
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
