Saw Operator 2nd Shift

Job Summary

Perform materials processing operations on inventory according to work orders or directed by supervisor.

Stand or Sit(Stationary position), Walk(Move, Traverse), Use hand/fingers to handle or feel (Operate, Activate, Use, Prepare, Inspect, Place, Detect, Position), Climb (stairs/ladders) or balance (Ascend/Descend, Work atop, Traverse), Stoop, kneel, crouch, or Crawl(Position self(to), Move), Talk/hear(Communicate, Detect, Converse with, Discern, Convey, Express oneself, Exchange information), See (Detect, Determine, Perceive, Identify, Recognize, Judge, Observe, Inspect, Estimate, Assess), Pushing or Pulling, Reaching, Repetitive Motion

Medium/Heavy work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

• Perform processing operations on saw
• Cut material according to work orders and by supervisor directions.
• Communicate/coordinate with supervisors and other employees on jobs/procedures.
• Understanding and proficiencies of measurements and processing software.
• Must perform inspections/replacements, inspections of fluid levels, and all other safety measures for processing equipment, to inc. emergency stop process.
• Load/unload and otherwise move inventory as required.
• Log all inventory location movement according to specified procedures.
• Record inventory information on to work orders as required.
• Special projects as specified by management.
• Performance of other Warehouse or Processing / Maintenance Department tasks as required by the absence of a department member or due to the existence of a backlog of work.
• Promote and practice all company policies and procedures with an emphasis on safety.

Preferably 1-year processing and/or warehouse experience
