We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for welding and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality structures and equipment, ensuring all work meets safety standards and project specifications. Aboutthe Role Duties
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes.
- Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and shop/onsite welding techniques to join various metals including sheet metal and pipe components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts accurately.
- Measure materials with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure proper fit and alignment according to specifications.
- Fabricate ductwork, structural steel, piping systems, and other components following ASME codes & standards for quality assurance.
- Operate rigging equipment such as cranes and forklifts for lifting and positioning heavy materials safely on construction sites or within manufacturing facilities.
- Assemble fabricated parts using mechanical knowledge, schematics, and basic math skills while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Proven construction site experience with a solid understanding of safety procedures in industrial or manufacturing settings.
- Demonstrated proficiency in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and shop/onsite welding on various metals.
- Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with pipe threading, soldering, plasma cutting, press brake operation, machining tools, and assembly techniques.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems such as ductwork installation or structural steel fabrication is highly desirable.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement devices accurately.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication work.
