About the Role
As a Department Supervisor, you will support the Sales and Profit goals in the store by executing a plan to deliver the best customer experience in your department and throughout the store. The role requires adherence to legal requirements and H&M standards, policies, and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues.
A Day in the Life Customer Sales & Profit- Support the total OMNI customer experience, ensuring visual and commercial curation according to global guidelines.
- Represent yourself and the H&M brand positively during customer interactions.
- Identify and act on commercial opportunities in partnership with your Department Manager.
- Ensure all staff promote and sell products, including the Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in‑store sustainability initiatives.
- Maintain correct routines in fitting rooms and checkout, including transactions, returns, and exchanges.
- Handle all administrative routines for people and operations accurately.
- Stay current with fashion trends, brands, products, competitors, and relevant influencers.
- Equip your team with product and fashion knowledge for customer interactions.
- Share knowledge and skills with the store team.
- Collaborate with the Visual Merchandiser team for planning and teamwork.
- Provide and receive constructive feedback to foster growth.
- Communicate regularly with store colleagues through daily and weekly meetings.
- Ensure all procedures, routines, and legal requirements are followed.
- Maintain a clean and tidy sales floor and back‑of‑house areas.
- Ensure high fashion quality, visual and commercial product presentation, and garment care.
- Maintain good stock levels and provide input on allocation to the Area team.
- Follow the full garment cycle, from delivery to presentation, and fitting room routines according to internal standards.
- Adopt best practices for in‑store OMNI services and technical tools (Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store, etc.).
- Ensure price signs are accurate and consistent with global and local strategies.
- Update and maintain BOH areas for all colleagues.
- Open and close the store daily.
- Emerging leader who enjoys taking responsibility.

- Achievement‑oriented, motivated by performance, competition, and customer focus.
- Expected base salary range: 19.22–22.39 hourly.
