What You’ll Be Doing

As a full‑time Verizon Retail Sales Associate, you will grow your career with a team focused on unlocking your full potential and sales success within one of our retail stores.

• Generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting‑edge technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Present product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top‑down sales solution.
• Close sales using strong communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
• Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up‑skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory.
• Potential to grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers interested in our products and services.
• Engage with the community outside of the store to expand your loyal customer base, including at off‑site Verizon sponsored events.

Base pay ranges from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, with the potential to earn up to $18,000 in individual commissions if you meet all sales goals. Top performers can earn additional commissions, providing the opportunity to earn a total salary of $65,000 – $75,500 annually. Compensation varies by geography, hours worked, and performance.

• Annual bonus of up to $3,000 for bilingual speakers in eligible locations after passing a language assessment.

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of relevant experience, demonstrated through work or military service.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with schedule announced four weeks in advance.
• Openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income during peak periods (summer, November, December).
• Experience working in a commission‑based environment (preferred).
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
