On Site Position… Responsible for safe and efficient movement of trailers to and from dock doors. Communicate all movements to Shipping lead.
- Must be able to safely and effectively operate a hydraulic fifth wheel and TADC with 53’ dry van.
- Responsible for safe movement of trailers in and out of dock doors for loading and unloading.
- Physical ability to repeatedly climb in and out of tractor to hook and unhook trailers.
- Ensure trailers are clean and free of debris before putting to dock.
- Adhere to all company policies.
- Adhere to all State, local, and Federal laws.
- Ensure load is secured before dropping trailer.
- Communicate all issues related to the yard operations to Manager on duty.
- Ensure that all appropriate asset repairs are noted and corrected prior to preloading assets.
- Perform a daily shift communication transition prior to the start of the shift.
Corrugated Logistics assesses driver applicants on standards for performance, stability, dependability, and honesty. Regardless of experience level, all candidates must meet the following requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- A valid Class A CDL without airbrake restrictions from the state that you declare to be your point of permanent domicile.
- Three (3) years of verifiable experience operating a CMV – 12 months or 150,000 miles.
- Read, write, speak, and clearly understand the English language.
DOT applications must be complete and accurate and should:
- Include a 7‑year MVR with application.
- Reflect all periods of employment, unemployment, self‑employment, and education for the past 10 years. All activities in the last three (3) years must be verifiable.
- Must meet or exceed the medical standard of DOT, including passing a physical exam and drug test administered by a company approved facility.
- Possess a valid Social Security Card.
- No reckless driving violations in the last ten (10) years.
- No suspension of license in the last ten (10) years.
- No moving violations in the last three (3) years – No more than one (1) moving violation in the last five (5) years.
- No at‑fault accidents within the last five (5) years.
- No more than two (2) moving or non‑moving violations in a five (5) year period. (1‑3 years no more than one (1) moving violation. 2‑5 years no more than 2 moving violations.)
- No failed or refused drug or alcohol test.
- No felony convictions within the last ten (10) years from the time restitution was completed. Convictions older than ten (10) years will be considered on a case‑by‑case basis.
- No controlled substance events.
- No crimes against another person of any type; misdemeanors will be considered on a case‑by‑case basis.
- No DWI, DUI, BAC, or Open Container convictions in the last ten (10) years.
- Present a clean and professional appearance.
- Successful completion of Corrugated Logistics road test.
