** serves as a critical first point of contact for prospective patients, families, and referral sources. This role is responsible for managing the admissions process from initial inquiry through placement, ensuring a seamless, professional, and clinically appropriate intake experience. The Admissions Coordinator coordinates all aspects of admissions, including pre-screening, benefits verification, financial communication, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure timely and appropriate placement.

This position requires strong clinical awareness, emotional intelligence, and the ability to manage high-volume, high-sensitivity interactions while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

** Key Responsibilities
*** Respond to inbound calls, emails, and web inquiries in a timely, professional manner
* Conduct initial screenings to assess patient needs and determine appropriate level of care
* Coordinate all aspects of the admissions process from inquiry through placement
* Verify insurance benefits and clearly communicate financial responsibilities
* Accurately document all interactions and patient information within the EMR system
* Serve as a liaison between patients, families, referral sources, and clinical teams
* Follow up on all pending admissions and maintain an active pipeline of prospective patients
* Support departmental goals related to admissions volume and conversion rates## Qualifications
** Qualifications
* ** High School diploma or equivalent required
* Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or healthcare admissions preferred
* Strong understanding of patient engagement and behavioral health environments
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage high-volume, emotionally sensitive interactions
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail--

*** Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
* Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Ability to navigate multiple systems including phone platforms, email, and lead management tools
