Starting pay: $15–$17 per hour, depending on experience and skill set.

• Perform tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotation
• Complete oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance
• Conduct multi‑point inspections and document vehicle conditions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
• Drive vehicles safely and courteously, obeying all traffic laws
• Pick up parts and supplies; transport customers as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and report concerns to the supervisor
• Support team members with assigned tasks
• Adhere to Sun Auto’s core values and all company policies and procedures

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Some knowledge of basic automotive systems (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Flexibility to work Saturdays (with Sundays off)

The General Service Technician will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non‑hazardous materials. The temperature in the work environment varies and could include extreme heat and/or extreme cold. Safety goggles or other PPE may be required when working in these conditions.

Physical requirements:

• Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and walk to reach various areas
• Bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch regularly; handle objects frequently
• Lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly; lift and move up to 70 pounds frequently
• Communicate with customers and shop personnel
• Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and refocus

Previous automotive experience preferred, but we will consider energetic and hard‑working individuals with a passion for cars. Candidates must have a high level of motivation and be able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
