Automotive Technician

Role Overview: The Senior Automotive Technician diagnoses, repairs, and performs advanced diagnostics on customer vehicles, ensuring adherence to MAP guidelines and manufacturer standards. They communicate technical issues clearly to customers and team members, recommend necessary services, and follow safety procedures. This position requires working efficiently on complex repairs and maintaining high quality standards.

• Diagnose vehicles based on experience and certifications.
• Perform repairs outlined on inspection and repair orders with accuracy.
• Explain technical diagnoses and repair needs to non-mechanical personnel.
• Recommend and document services to maintain vehicle safety and performance.
• Follow safety protocols and report hazards.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends, with a commitment to company policies.

• Previous automotive technician or mechanic experience required or ASE certifications.
• Proficiency with computerized diagnostic tools.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a State Inspector License if applicable.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
