The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking energetic, safety-focused team members to help launch and operate our brand-new Sky Trail ® ropes course and pavilion. , you will play a critical role in delivering an experience that is thrilling, welcoming, and above all, safe.
In this role, you will support the YMCA mission by creating a safe, welcoming, and efficient experience in the Sky Trail ® concessions and check‑in area. Under the direction of the Associate Executive Director, you will:
- Assist with food service, guest transactions, and maintain a clean, organized facility
- Help prepare and serve food items while following all health and safety guidelines, wash and sanitize dishes, equipment, and work areas
- Process transactions and ticketing, ensure waivers are completed before issuing wristbands, and provide friendly, professional service to all guests
- Assist with inventory, stocking supplies, and ensuring all equipment is used properly and maintained in good condition
- Maintain the cleanliness of the facility
This is a guest‑facing role requiring friendly, attentive service while accommodating needs such as allergies and dietary restrictions. Strong organization, communication, and a positive attitude in a fast‑paced environment are key. If you enjoy working with people and creating great guest experiences, we encourage you to apply.
Qualifications- At least 16 years of age
- Meets Sky Trail health and physical requirements
- Highly motivated, organized, personable, enthusiastic displaying leadership abilities
- Food Handlers Certification
- Adaptable, flexible, and enjoy variety in your work environment including weekends and non‑business hour workdays
- Model the YMCA core values:
Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility; implement character development and the YMCA core values in all programs and all aspects of Center operations - Must be able to pass background and drug screening
$14.00-$17.00/hour
