Job Description

We are currently hiring for a Lead Teacher (Infant Lead or Assistant) for newborn to 18 months. The position is full-time and based in a fully accredited preschool located just north of Austin. The role includes supporting children's development, assisting with curriculum delivery, and maintaining a safe learning environment.

• Education related degree (Bachelor's, Associate's or CDA) or the desire to complete one
• At least one year of experience working in a licensed childcare center (preferred)
• Certification or eligibility to hold a CDA credential is considered a plus.
• Pay range $16 - $19 per hour (based on level of education and years of experience)
• Must meet the qualifications of the state of Texas and those set forth in the National Standards for hiring (see (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).)
• Employment is contingent upon cleared DFPS, DPS, and FBI Background Checks

• Ability to hear conversational voice, with or without hearing aid
• Ability to see and read newsprint, with or without corrective lenses
• Ability to speak and be understood under normal circumstances
• Ability to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to use arms, hands, legs, and feet, with or without corrective devices; includes ability to evacuate the building during emergencies
• Ability to handle crisis situations, especially where children are involved
• Ability to respond immediately to emergency situations
