Electrical Designer

Location:

US‑TX‑Cedar Park

Shermco Industries is looking for an Electrical Designer in our Cedar Park, TX office.

Operating under detailed instructions and review, the purpose of this position is to provide the essential technical knowledge and perform the work listed.

• Promote Fluor’s competitiveness within the global marketplace by delivering quality services of unmatched value and technical competence.
• Work on design and perform 3D layout of moderate scope to support the Design Area Lead or Lead.
• Prepare 2D Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings of moderate complexity.
• Review drawings, and vendor equipment documentation of basic to moderate complexity within the discipline and from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements, and actively seek discrepancy resolution.
• Perform bulk material take-off analysis and tabulations.
• Adhere to industry codes and standards as well as department practices and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Experience in AutoCAD and SKM.
• Electrical Engineering degree.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Pass a criminal background screen.
• Pass pre‑employment drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Power and Controls experience.
• Fluently read, write, and speak English.
• Willing and open to overnight travel for various projects.

• AutoCAD.
• SKM.
• Microsoft Office.
