Part-time caregiving positions starting at $17/hr - $18/hr. with an excellent work environment (including 24/7 support) and competitive wages in North Austin, Cedar Park, Leander, Round Rock, and the surrounding areas! We are looking for CARING, COMPASSIONATE and EXPERIENCED individuals in the caregiving field to become a part of our Seniors Helping Seniors Family and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.
Duties included are:
Personal Care with ADLs (showers, changing/toileting, ambulation/transfers)
Medication Reminders Light housekeeping
Meal Prep and Assist with Feeding if necessary
Companionship
Possible transportation of clients or run of errands
Qualifications of the ideal candidate:
Ability to treat and care for seniors and special needs clients with dignity and respect
Successfully complete a background check, competency quiz and pass references
If you drive, you must possess a car, valid drivers license and auto insurance.
Experience with taking care of clients personal needs (bathing, grooming, toileting, assist with transfers)
Experience with care of Alzheimer's and Dementia patients would be desirable
Ability to follow detailed instructions to execute the care plan Ability to move, bend, stretch and lift (up to 20 pounds)
Willing to travel at least 15 miles for assignments
