Salary: $45,000 yearly

Job Description

As the
Program Director
you will have oversight andbe responsible for coordinating and managing the overall assigned programs (4 in total; 2 in Cedar Park, 1 in marble falls, 1 in Bertram) in relation to individuals with developmental disabilities (IDD).The program directoris responsible formonitoringall aspects of the program including but not limited to developing individual goals and plans, implementing program.
This position is a mixture of both direct care and supervisory duties.

What You Get To Do :

  • Personnel management and program coordination including but not limited to assuring they complete orientation, and ongoing training.
  • Monitor all aspects of the program including but not limited to developing individual goals and plans, implementing the program.
  • Assure coordination and management of the overall operations, medical, financial and maintenance aspects of the programs, through guiding and directing thedesignee of the site.
  • Ensure the atmosphere of the overall program is therapeutic, providesoptimalgrowth for individuals, and preserves individuals’ dignity andself worth.
  • Schedule, lead, andparticipateininterdisciplinary team meetings,while assuring continuity between services.
  • Communicate directly with case managers/service coordinators in a manner that encourages the continued growth and happiness of individuals.
Qualifications

What Makes YouAGreat Fit
:

  • Bachelor’s degree ina human services field of study required.
  • A program director must have the qualifications ofan intellectual disability professional, based on a bachelor’s degree in a human services field plus a minimum of one-year, full time, direct experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities.
  • Prior experience in developing and implementingparticipantsprograms, implementing budgets, and supervising employees is desired.
  • Mustdemonstrategood decision-making, timemanagementand communication skills, and be responsible, mature, and flexible.
  • Good communication is key in this role.

    You’llrely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
