Compensation:
- Base salary: $68, annually
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Current Physical Therapist license (or eligibility for licensure) in the State of Texas
- Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Strong clinical reasoning, evaluation, and treatment planning skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and compliant documentation practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history review, functional assessments, and clinical decision-making to develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide one-on-one skilled physical therapy treatments focused on improving mobility, function, strength, and quality of life
- Deliver evidence-based interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, functional training, and patient education
- Establish meaningful relationships with patients while guiding and motivating them throughout their recovery journey
- Regularly assess patient progress and modify treatment plans to optimize outcomes and meet individualized goals
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in accordance with clinic standards, payer requirements, and regulatory guidelines
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers to support coordinated care
- Collaborate with other clinicians and team members to promote a positive, patient-centered clinic environment
- Educate patients on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and strategies to maintain long-term health and wellness
- Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to a culture of learning, growth, and clinical excellence
