Logistics Procurement Assistant

Pay Range: $16.13 - $19.68 hourly

As NFM’s Logistics Procurement Assistant, you will support the Strategic Procurement Manager and assist in the implementation and execution of division strategies related to procurement and process improvement.

• Monitor:
  Continuously evaluate and optimize procurement processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Manage:
  The Critical Supplies List to ensure supplies are in stock in each region
• Analyze:
  Cost and budgets to identify opportunities for cost savings and provide insights to Strategic Procurement Manager
• Assist:
  Oversee procurement and purchasing activities for logistics and distribution operations
• Collaborate:
  Bridge the gap between departments so they have a better understanding of each department’s functions and processes

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 2-3 years of office/clerical experience
• Computer knowledge to include Microsoft Office Applications
• Ability to enter data quickly and accurately. Valid driver’s license and ongoing acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to work nights, weekends and/or early morning hours based on business needs
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check and motor vehicle report
