Under the direction of a supervisor or experienced machinist, produce quality parts on CNC machines (including lathes and milling machines) in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.;
Operate CNC machines, perform setup changes, and conduct first article inspections during production runs.;
Load parts using overhead lifting equipment; prove programs; operate machine controls; set offsets; perform simple program edits; deburr parts; and inspect finished parts to ensure conformance with specifications.;
Identify potential issues before production runs and monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions.;
Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and precision measuring instruments to determine dimensions, tolerances, and tooling requirements.
