Pay and Schedule

  • Hourly Rate: $25.00 - $28.00 / hour (Depending on experience)

  • Shift: Day Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Overtime:
    Highly active shop currently working 56 hours per week. Overtime can start as early as 5:00 AM or extend past 2:30 PM based on production demand.

  • TIG / GTAW

    Experience:

    Previous TIG welding experience is a hard requirement and must be clearly shown on your resume.
  • Thin-Gauge Expertise:
    Previous experience welding sheet metal down to 20 gauge (.036") aluminum and/or stainless steel is highly preferred.
  • Finishing Capability:
    Must have the ability to perform your own grinding and finishing to deliver a clean, seamless look post-finish.
  • Availability:
    Must have immediate availability to start if selected.
Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical engineering drawings.
  • Perform fit-up, tack welding, GTAW (TIG) welding, grinding, and finishing operations on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
  • Weld thin-gauge sheet metal and fabricated assemblies down to .036" material thickness.
  • Perform spot welding, stud welding, and robotic welding operations as required.
  • Install PEM hardware, rivet nuts, inserts, studs, and perform secondary fabrication (drilling, tapping, countersinking).
  • Inspect completed work for dimensional and visual compliance.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with 5S standards.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated hands-on TIG welding experience (carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum).
  • Experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Overhead crane experience is a plus.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Standard manufacturing shop environment (exposure to heat, fumes, moving parts, and loud noise levels; safety gear like steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection are required).
  • Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and perform finishing operations for extended periods.
  • Frequent lifting of materials and products up to 40 lbs.
