Pay and Schedule
- Hourly Rate: $25.00 - $28.00 / hour (Depending on experience)
- Position Type:
Full-time, Temporary (Estimated contract duration: 180 Days) - Target
Start Date:
July 6, 2026 - Shift: Day Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Overtime:
Highly active shop currently working 56 hours per week. Overtime can start as early as 5:00 AM or extend past 2:30 PM based on production demand.

- TIG / GTAW
Experience:
Previous TIG welding experience is a hard requirement and must be clearly shown on your resume. - Thin-Gauge Expertise:
Previous experience welding sheet metal down to 20 gauge (.036") aluminum and/or stainless steel is highly preferred. - Finishing Capability:
Must have the ability to perform your own grinding and finishing to deliver a clean, seamless look post-finish. - Availability:
Must have immediate availability to start if selected.
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical engineering drawings.
- Perform fit-up, tack welding, GTAW (TIG) welding, grinding, and finishing operations on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Weld thin-gauge sheet metal and fabricated assemblies down to .036" material thickness.
- Perform spot welding, stud welding, and robotic welding operations as required.
- Install PEM hardware, rivet nuts, inserts, studs, and perform secondary fabrication (drilling, tapping, countersinking).
- Inspect completed work for dimensional and visual compliance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with 5S standards.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated hands-on TIG welding experience (carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum).
- Experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
- Overhead crane experience is a plus.
- Standard manufacturing shop environment (exposure to heat, fumes, moving parts, and loud noise levels; safety gear like steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection are required).
- Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and perform finishing operations for extended periods.
- Frequent lifting of materials and products up to 40 lbs.
