Job Summary and Qualifications

As aClinical Nurse Coordinator,you will serveas the primary decision maker for clinical and managerial operations andworkflowduring a given shift. As a Registered Nurse,youmayassumecareresponsibilities for patients on the unit if needed.

  • You will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.

  • You will continuously assessthe quality ofnursingcare services provided and operationalize evidenced-based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes.

  • You will assume leadership responsibilitywithinthe unit in support of theRNmanager/director, including direct supervision of aportionof the staff,education and coaching,payroll editing,annual performance reviews,and employee recognition.

  • Youwill have designated responsibilities thatmay rotate within one or more of the following core areas:

  • Quality, Safety, and Regulatory Preparedness

  • Patient Experience

  • Employee Engagement, Physician Satisfaction, and Culture

  • Fiscal Responsibility including scheduling, overtime review, and supply management

  • Staff Development including education / clinical competencies and Graduate Nurse Residency /Preceptor support

What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • (RN) Registered Nurse
  • Bachelors Degree
