Registered Nurse Radiology

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse Radiology, you will perform patient assessments, develop a plan of care, and implement and evaluate care. You will work with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care.

• Formulate a plan of care, revise based on patient response, and evaluate effectiveness
• Consult and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop, evaluate, and revise the plan of care
• Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy
• Delegate tasks appropriately to non‑licensed staff per standards of practice
• Provide pre‑ and post‑operative patient care
• Provide education materials to patients and families on care and treatments
• Facilitate discharge plans in collaboration with the care team

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program or current enrollment in an Alternative Entry MSN program (required)
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
• Minimum of one year of experience in a Staff RN role (required)
• One year of Staff RN experience in Imaging or Critical Care (preferred)

• Current Texas RN License or a Compact RN license from a NCLA Compact State (required). If Compact, a Texas RN license is required within 90 days of hire date.
• Current BCLS certification (required)
• Current ACLS certification required within 1 year of hire date
