Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care in line with the department requirements and state specialty standards. You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team, provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, and act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers.
What You Will Do- Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers and ensure thorough, timely documentation in the patient’s medical record.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and take appropriate action if an unintended response occurs.
- Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve them.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow‑up measures, ensuring complete understanding.
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Current State of Texas RN license or Compact RN license (Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of hire).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- NIHSS certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
