Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Circulator for the Operating Room with at least 3 years of OR experience and TX or compact RN licensure required.

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room experience required
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

• 6-Operating room unit supporting a wide range of surgical services including general surgery, bariatrics, gynecology, robotics, orthopedics, plastics, urology, and select vascular cases
• 13-week assignment with a 06:30-15:00 shift schedule
• On-call obligation required
• Coordinate patient care throughout the surgical process as the RN Circulator
• Ensure the operating room is properly prepared with necessary equipment and supplies
• Verify patient identity and procedure prior to surgery
• Maintain a safe and sterile operating room environment
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team to ensure efficient procedures
• Monitor patients during surgery and document care accurately
• Serve as a key patient safety advocate throughout the surgical process
