Restaurant General Manager – Austin, TX

- Salary: $70,000 - $73,000
- 3–5 years of experience in a general management role within hospitality
- P&L management including forecasting and budgeting
- Experience in high‑volume, fast‑casual environments
- Proficiency with Excel, POS systems, and general computer skills
- Strong communication, team management, and customer service orientation
- Ability to work a 50‑hour work week including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma required; hospitality certification a plus
- Flexibility, patience, and a willingness to learn
- Experience with restaurant management software such as Aloha or Toast
- Leadership style that is hands‑on and hospitality‑driven
- Lead, coach, and develop front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house teams
- Foster and promote a hospitality‑focused culture
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to drive outstanding guest experiences
- Coordinate communication and supervise staff during service
- Manage scheduling, training, and onboarding for new team members
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and compliance with regulations
- Prepare shift schedules and facilitate pre‑shift meetings
- Monitor operational costs and implement strategies to improve employee retention
