Sales Associate

As a jewelry sales associate, you will be expected to create a shopping environment that will make our customers feel welcome, comfortable with a level of service that lives up to our high standards. Perform all duties involved in sale and delivery of inventory to our customers and keep all aspects of the store functioning as needed.

• Keeping the store clean and presentable.
• Display inventory
• Inventory control and labeling
• Be knowledgeable about all products on sale
• Be proficient in using our POS systems
• Be proactive in assisting customers to shop and compare
• Assist customers in all aspects of service, and qualify customer needs and figure out what's right for them and there budget
• Maintain a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm that demonstrates our commitment to our customer.
• Maintain and update customer profile on POS system
• Perform all aspects of the fulfillment and delivery process; including, but not limited to - packing, labeling, shipping and gift wrapping
• Ensure proper presentation, organization of inventory and replenish stock as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned, including but not limited to watch sizing and ear piercing.
• Have a regular and dependable attendance and punctuality
• Be aware of our AML and ATF compliance and take regular training

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous selling experience is not necessary

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• South Asian languages will be an asset

• Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and percent
• Able to use a calculator

• Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team

• This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, and standing
• Involves standing for long periods of time
• Involves lifting at least 20 lbs
• May occasionally involve reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
• Vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment

• Superior organizational and time management skills
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to build relationships and influence others
• Must possess a thirst for knowledge
• Ability to collaborate and function as a member of a team
• Must possess a strong sense of urgency
• Should be comfortable with the use of computers

10:00am to 7:30pm with flexibility in scheduling time and days
