- Monitor for security threats and respond quickly to any issues.
- Investigate, document, and manage security incidents and hazards.
- Follow alarm procedures and emergency/disaster plans; assist with drills when needed.
- Provide safety information and assistance to staff and visitors.
- If driving is required, operate vehicles safely and follow all traffic and parking laws.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Drivers License credentialed from the Texas Department of Public Safety obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Security Guard specializing in Weapon Permit credentialed from the Texas Department of Public Safety obtained within 4 Months (120 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Security Professional credentialed from the Texas Department of Public Safety preferred.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note:
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
