Shermco Industries is seeking an Industrial Electrician.

• Install, commission, and maintain power, instrumentation, process controls, and SCADA equipment.
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on power, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting of power and control systems.
• Coordinate repair, testing, and installation of power and control systems.
• Mechanical and electrical installations.
• Skills include: rigid, EMT, PVC coated rigid conduit; service, feeders, and branch circuits; controls, fiber, and network cabling; stainless tubing and instrumentation; service equipment, MCC, panel boards.

• Master Electrician, Journeyman Electrician, or Apprentice Electrician is a plus but not a requirement.
• Field experience in the industrial field with power and control systems.
• Understanding of electrical schematics and controls.
• Self‑motivated individual - able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Team‑oriented, flexible and willing to assist in other technical disciplines.
• Hand and power tool capabilities.
• Willingness to be hands‑on and work in the field alongside our engineers and field technicians.
• Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate in English via verbal and written methods and be comfortable and effective doing so directly to customers and co‑workers.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, drive regularly (with or without reasonable accommodations).
• Must pass a fit‑for‑duty physical exam when required.
• Must pass a pre‑employment drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests.
• Must pass a pre‑employment criminal background check.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without employer‑sponsored visa.
• Must be willing to travel.
