Job Overview
Acara Solutions and our client located in Cedar Park, TX are currently searching for a Full-Stack Software Developer and Programmer (Contract to possible direct hire). You will be working closely with the ERP & Engineering Applications, Design and Product Development teams helping integrate, develop, and troubleshoot various software suites driving overall company efficiencies. If you are a self-starter interested in helping automate systems reducing overall cost of developing advanced Launch Vehicle in a fast‑paced startup environment, this job is for you!
Responsibilities- 3+ years of experience in software development and cross‑platform integration, applying best practices to deliver reliable and maintainable solutions.
- Strong foundation in Python, JavaScript, Type Script, HTML, CSS, XML, SQL, and object‑oriented programming with experience in web application development.
- Proven ability to design, build, and integrate APIs, HTTP requests, web sockets, and other communication protocols across multi‑application environments.
- Develop, test, and implement software tools and systems, enhancing integration capabilities and streamlining workflows across departments.
- Write SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and integration with web applications.
- Collaborate effectively between business units and IT teams, gathering, documenting, and communicating complex business requirements.
- ERP experience such as Oracle Net Suite, Workday Financials, SAP ERP/SAP S/4
HANA, etc. - Apply critical thinking and problem‑solving skills to resolve technical challenges with a "make it happen" attitude.
- Knowledgeable in Agile software development best practices, including architectural paradigms, code reviews, branching, task management, documentation, and testing.
- Capable of working independently or as part of a team in dynamic, fast‑pace environments.
- Provide technical leadership and coordination with Development Managers and Technical Directors to streamline data and information flow across the organization.
- Plan, develop, test, and release tools, connectors, and in‑house applications to promote efficiency and synergy across departments.
- Support IT network resource planning and optimization of hardware utilization.
- Develop and maintain KPIs, technical documentation, and user guides to comply with audit requirements.
- Configure features and develop functionalities to meet business and organizational requirements.
- Respond to software support requests, troubleshoot bugs, and implement solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to current and future software/application requirements.
- Conduct system audits and design operational data pipelines using advanced data architectures.
- Participate in a primarily Agile/Scrum product development process, supporting all phases from development to release.
- Support training development across all levels of the organization to ensure knowledge transfer and adoption of new tools and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science/Engineering or a related discipline (4+ yrs direct industry experience may be substituted).
- 3+ years of experience in software development & cross‑platform integration, using industry best practices.
- 3+ years’ working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, SQL, object‑oriented programming, web application development.
- 3+ years’ experience developing, testing, and implementing software tools and systems across multi‑application environments.
- 3+ years’ writing SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases, enhancing the integration capabilities of web applications.
- 3+ years’ proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Type Script, SQL.
- 3+ years’ experience comprehensive understanding of web server and web applications.
- Familiarity with ERP systems – integrating and developing tools/modules.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to configure & support container‑based technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher, etc.).
- Familiarity with Atlassian product suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) and Siemens products (or other 3D CAD software).
- Basic machine‑learning concepts and language learning models, enabling integration of intelligent features into web applications.
Hourly rate:
Up to $63.90 per hour DOE
