This doesn’t happen often, but Nitro Swimming is looking to add (1) high-quality Swimming Coach to our USA Coaching staff at our Cedar Park, Texas location. We are looking to fill the position sooner rather than later - but will not settle until we find the RIGHT person for each slot.

Nitro Swimming Cedar Park is located on the north side of Austin, Texas

It is a 30,000 sq ft indoor facility, housing a beautiful indoor 50 meter pool, and a swim school pool as well.

We have two other indoor 50 meter facilities in the area:
Nitro Bee Cave (opened in 2011) and our third indoor 50 meter location just celebrated its 1st birthday and is in Kyle, Texas, just south of Austin.

We are looking for that shining star who LOVES being on deck, possesses the X factor, with that rare ability to get athletes to run through walls for them (willingly!), and will stop at nothing to get us to the top.

Our next Age Group Coach will be a Coach who ENJOYS working in a fast paced positive and competitive swim environment and is EAGER to join the hardest working coaching staffs in the country. We have 30 USA Swimming Coaches and we all help make each other better.

The Coach that is leaving our program has been with us for several years and is going full time into ministry, following his dream.

As I stated at the beginning, this is a rare opportunity.

This will be a well-compensated position. We're prepared to make this a salaried position, with Blue Cross/Blue Shield health coverage, including vision, dental, paid time off, 401K, and one of the most desired perks is what we call a “Rolling Day Off” awarded to our Coaches anytime they are on a pool deck covering a meet on a Sunday. We award them a day off the deck the next week to help with their Swim/Life balance.

Our Coaches LOVE those.

IF you prefer the flexibility of a part time hourly role, we are happy to discuss that as well. Starting hourly rate would be $25/hr approximately 25-28 hours/week. But to reiterate, we're prepared to make this position full time salaried to the right candidate! Salary will be commensurate with experience, attitude, aptitude, and energy!

You must possess that never ending desire to make every athlete in front of you better in the short time you have them each day. The energy on the pool deck driven by the coaches is what makes the Nitro engine run. Hard to describe 23 lanes of high-octane swimming churning at once, with coaches lined up and down the pool deck feeding off each other, but that’s what we do.
