We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to assist our client during peak tax season. As a tax preparer, you will play a vital role in helping individuals and businesses navigate complex tax regulations and meet critical deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and small businesses

+ Review financial records, statements, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance

+ Stay updated on current tax laws, policies, and industry best practices

+ Assist clients in identifying tax-saving opportunities, credits, and deductions

+ Deliver clear communication regarding document requirements and return statuses

+ Ensure strict confidentiality and security of all client information

+ Collaborate with other team members to meet client deadlines and deliver quality service

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Experience in tax preparation

+ Proficient with major tax software systems and MS Office Suite

+ Strong understanding of current tax codes and guidelines

+ Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills

+ Effective verbal and written communication abilities

+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines

+ Relevant certifications (EA, CPA, or PTIN) preferred but not required
