We are seeking a dependable Accounting Specialist with 2–3 years of small‑business accounting experience to join our team. This position is integral to supporting our daily accounting tasks, payroll, billing, and general office and financial functions. It is an ideal role for someone seeking a long‑term position with variety, stability, and room for growth.

• Perform daily accounting tasks to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
• Manage payroll operations efficiently.
• Handle billing and accounts payable tasks.
• Assist with month‑end closing and financial reporting.
• Maintain and update the general ledger.
• Engage in bookkeeping activities to support financial operations.

• 2+ years of small business accounting experience.
• 1+ years of experience in month‑end reconciliation and reporting.
• 1+ years of experience in payroll management.
• Proficiency in accounting, month‑end closing, financial reporting, accounts payable, general ledger, and bookkeeping.

• An accounting degree is preferred.

This is a Contract position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $33.65/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Cedar Rapids, IA.
